Dr Singh, who passed away at the age of 92 due to age-related medical conditions, was widely recognized for his significant contributions to India’s economic reforms and governance.
Speaking to ANI, Kapoor said, “May God give peace to the soul of former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh. PM Modi wrote, “Dr Manmohan Singh Ji and I interacted regularly when he was PM and I was the CM of Gujarat. We would have extensive deliberations on various subjects relating to governance. His wisdom and humility were always visible.”

He became the 13th Prime Minister of India in 2004, succeeding Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
